As a pool owner, you are responsible for the following:
- Maintaining pool and spa water level: It is recommended to keep the water level halfway up the skimmer. This helps ensure proper filtration and prevents damage to the pool equipment.
- Trimming trees, plants, and shrubs: It is your responsibility to keep all vegetation near the pool trimmed back. This helps prevent leaves, debris, and insects from falling into the pool, keeping the water clean.
- Preparing for pool service: On the day of pool service, you should remove the pool covers, unlock any gates necessary for access, and ensure that any animals are secured or put away before the technicians arrive.
- Notifying The Healthy Pool LLC of extended absences: If you will be out of town for an extended period of time, it is recommended to contact The Healthy Pool LLC to inform them of the dates you will be gone. We may need to adjust your service schedule or take steps to ensure the pool is properly maintained during your absence.
- Contacting The Healthy Pool LLC before special events: If you have a special event coming up that will require rescheduling of your pool service, it is important to notify The Healthy Pool LLC at least 7 days in advance. This allows us to make the necessary arrangements and ensure your pool is properly maintained before the event.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, you can help ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of your pool.
Please note the following exclusions, exceptions, and additional charges:
- Holiday cleaning: If your regular cleaning day falls on a holiday, the cleaning will be done either the day before or the day after the holiday. This ensures that the cleaning service is not disrupted due to holiday observance.
- Inclement weather: If your cleaning day falls during inclement weather, such as heavy rain or storms, the technicians will assess the situation. We may check the pool equipment, baskets, and chemicals if it is safe to do so, or we may need to reschedule the cleaning for a later date. This ensures the safety of the technicians and prevents any damage to the pool or equipment.
- Additional charge for debris: If leaves, grass cuttings, or debris are carelessly blown into the pool by the owner or your yard service company, there will be an additional charge of $75 for emergency service or a return trip to clean the pool. It is important to properly maintain your yard to prevent debris from entering the pool and causing filtration issues.
- Additional charge for removal of feces or dead animals: If there is a need to remove and disinfect the pool due to feces or dead animals, there will be an additional charge. This is because the removal and proper disinfection of hazardous materials require additional time, effort, and specialized cleaning agents.
These exclusions, exceptions, and additional charges are in place to ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of your pool. It is important to adhere to these policies and take necessary precautions to avoid any extra charges or disruptions to your pool service.
